Welcome to Bookroo Classroom. We're thrilled to bring our popular reading platform to schools and classrooms around the world.

Creating Accounts

Teacher Accounts

The first step to set up Bookroo for your classroom is to create a teacher account. This can be done by visiting https://bookroo.com/teachers.

After you’ve created your account, you’ll be asked to indicate if you’re a teacher. If you’d like to set up a classroom account, please select this option.

Student Accounts

When you have created your teacher account, you’ll be able to create accounts for your students by adding them to your classroom. Students can be added to your classroom under the “Overview” tab on your home screen.

With accounts created for you and your students, you’re ready to start using the classroom features.

Tracking Reading

Students can easily track or log their reading through their student account.

The platform allows users to track reading by title of book, by number of pages read, or by time read.

On your Overview page, you’ll see a summary of reading activity of each student account.

Reading Challenges and Rewards

You can create reading challenges and set custom rewards.

To create a reading challenge, navigate to the “Homepage" tab on your teacher dashboard.

You can create a unique reading challenge for a student or group of students, or you can apply a reading challenge to the entire class.

You can select specific titles for your reading challenge, or you can choose different genres or topics.

Choose a custom reward that will be motivating for your students or class.

Reading Points and Gems.

Students can also earn points for their reading on a weekly basis.

To encourage and reward additional reading, students can also earn gems.

Points and gems can be used to unlock and customize 3D animated figures on the platform.

Creating a Class Library

From the "Homepage" tab on your dashboard, you can also create custom book lists. This allows you to create a list of the books in your classroom library.

You can create other custom lists as well, like your favorite holiday or seasonal books.

School and Family Accounts

Inviting parents to join a student's reading journey is simple on the platform. From your dashboard, you can send a message to parents with a link to their student's account.

If a student already has an account at home, the link will allow the home account to merge with the school account.

Pricing

All teachers are offered a 30 day free trial period. After, Bookroo Classroom costs only $19/month per class (up to 35 students), or you can save 35% by paying $145 for the full year.
