Student reading improves most when there's encouragement at home and school.

That's why Bookroo makes it easy to link a school account to a home account.

How to link a Bookroo school account with a family account

To link a school account to a home account, teachers should navigate to the Roster tab on their classroom dashboard.

On the Roster tab, they will find their list of students. Next to each student's name is a circle with three dots. When a teacher clicks the three dots, they'll see an option that says "Link with guardian". Clicking that link will provide the teacher with a custom link they can share with a student's parent or guardian that will link the student's school account with a family account.

When parents follow the link, they'll be prompted to create a free home account. If they already have a free home account, they'll be prompted to either add the student as a new reader on their account, or merge the account with the student's existing home account.

In the screenshot below, Braden's parents have already created a free family account. They also already have one reader—Wyatt—on their account. They should select the option to have Braden join as a new reader on their account.
